Learn about your sewing machine and how to use it. Learn basic terminology and make the first stitches on your machine. Practice stitching on Paper. In Part 2 you will make a pillow case.

Intro26001: Intro To Quilting 1: The basics of quilting Begins Feb. 7, 2026
This series of 10 Classes will take the novice or completely new sewist/quilter through all of the steps to complete their first quilt. During the class, students will become familiar with quilting terminology, tools and techniques as well as proper use and care of sewing tools, including their sewing machine. Students must provide their own sewing machine. All tools (except walking foot) can be purchased through Sew Squared. All material for the class must be purchased from Sew Squared.
